Wildwood Vineyard is an off– grid, multi-award winning, family owned English Vineyard located just outside the village of Eridge, East Sussex, southwest of Tunbridge Wells. We are the winner of the 2025 Tunbridge Wells Business Awards for Food & Drink.

Planted in 2016, with our first harvest in 2018, we employ a wide range of sustainable practices to grow Bacchus, Pinot Noir and Regent grapes, tending to our vines by hand to create premium quality still and sparkling English Wine.

Come down for a tour and guided tasting, have an East Sussex cheese plate paired with our wines, buy direct from our Cellar Door and let the kids try out our Nature Trail, or have a wander in our wild woods. You can even arrive in style on a heritage steam train via the Spa Valley Railway. Accessible by car, taxi, foot, bus, cycle and train (modern and steam).

Wildwood Vineyard is owned by three families - Paul and Andrea Olding, Paul's mum Enid Olding and Andrea's parents Carol and Vic Greenway. Paul is the vineyard manager and was trained at Plumpton Wine Division, subsequently taking further qualifications at NIAB EMR East Malling and WSET. During the week, Paul is a tv writer/director maming historical dramas. He has also taught viticulture and wine business as a Lecturer at the Plumpton Wine Division. Our adventure started in 2014 with the purchase of a barren plot of grassland and a shaw of ancient woodland. Having ameliorated the site nutritionally and physically, in 2016 we planted our field with Bacchus, two clones of Pinot Noir (FR1801 and GM1-11), and Regent. That year the vines all burst into life and we were on our way. Two years later in 2018, we took our first harvest. In 2023, we extended into our neighbour's field with an addition plantation, now including Pinot Meunier. For such a small vineyard, we produce a wide range of premium quality, award-winning still and sparkling wines. From our aromatic Bishop Odo Bacchus white, and its gastronomic cousin, the Barrel Aged Bacchus, to our mouth watering Eagle Ridge and Saxonbury Pinot Noir rosés and our characterful lighter bodied and fruity Thieving Badger Regent red, to our Blanc de Noirs and Rosé de Noirs Traditional Method fizz, plus a cheeky Pink Vermouth. Our wines are made under contract by Defined Wine of Canterbury, a founding member of the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain initiative. Wildwood Vineyard wines are available to buy direct at the vineyard during the summer months from our fully licensed Cellar Door. We are also stocked by some exclusive cafes, restaurants and pubs, and our wines are also available year round from our online shop. We offer tours & guided tastings most weekends May to September, plus we have a children's nature trail to keep the kids occupied while you enjoy our wines. In the winter, we are also present at various markets across East Sussex and Kent. We are accessible by foot, car, taxi, bus, cycle and train (modern and steam). Wildwood Vineyard is an active member of WineGB and the Explore Wealden Wine Trail initiative, and proudly employs a wide range of sustainability measures.
