Mousehall Distillery & Winery

Tucked away in the beautiful East Sussex countryside, Mousehall Distillery & Winery is a family–run estate where wine, spirits and hospitality unite. With a history dating back to the Domesday Book, Mousehall has long been part of the Sussex landscape. When Gary and Kathy Jordan, owners of Jordan Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, South Africa, first discovered Mousehall in 2017, it was a neglected and overgrown property full of potential. Drawn by the challenge and inspired by the landscape, the family set about restoring the estate and creating something truly special for future generations. In 2021, an abandoned barn was transformed into what is now Mousehall Distillery & Winery, making it one of the UK's first distilleries within a winery, where Tidebrook wines and Mousehall spirits are crafted side by side. From the vineyard to the distillery, everything is produced on the estate with care, attention to detail and a passion for quality. A visit to Mousehall offers more than just a tasting. Stroll through the vineyard, discover how our wines and spirits are made, and experience life on a working estate. Alongside our Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier vines, you'll find gin botanicals, beehives, grazing Dorper sheep, runner ducks and our resident four–legged pets all part of the Mousehall story.
